Cellulose, our most popular product, is especially recommended for existing residential homes. There is a lot going on in your attic from air conditioning ducts to electrical wire and more. Blown cellulose gets in all of the nooks and crannies, around the ducts and wires providing an excellent air seal. It’s also a great option for Florida homes, which are known for having tight attic spaces because you can get a higher R-value with less material.
It can be blown into an attic space from the residential retrofit, multi-family, and new construction. It’s easy to install, has enhanced noise control, it’s made with 85% recycled post-consumer paper material, and has a class 1A fire rating providing peace of mind. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
For residential attic insulation we highly recommend Blown Cellulose. It's cost effective and has the most benefits.
If you have had severe rodent infestation, a roof leak or house fire your insulation could be bad and need to be removed.
You should start seeing the benefits of insulation immediately. Once it's installed your home will stay cooler longer and your A/C will run less.
If the only thing that's wrong with it is it's old it will still count for something and it's perfectly fine to add new insulation on top of old.
